On October 4th and 5th, GGF participated in the Corporate Investments into Forestry & Biodiversity event, which took place in London. This event brought together large corporations from around the world to promote the development of investment strategies in forestry and biodiversity, aiming to achieve a net-zero future through methodologies for natural climate solutions, nature-based solutions, and carbon markets. GGF hosted the Sustainable Development and Nature-Based Recovery panel, which focused on the sustainable development of the Peruvian Amazon, highlighting the conservation of forest resources and biodiversity as a key strategy to build a future with zero net emissions. Furthermore, panelists from Volkswagen ClimatePartner GmbH, Plant Your Future, biometrio.earth and Mizuho shared insights on the green transition, the inclusion of local communities, a nature-based economy and climate investments.
